AFSCME MEMBERS ONLY INFORMATION

When do we meet?

AFSCME Local 1624 meets the 4th Thursday of the Month at 6PM. 30 mins prior, a light dinner buffet is served.  Exceptions to the date might occur and if so, will be communicated to members. All members will receive a reminder notice via email to attend the meeting (in person or Zoom). 

Where do we meet?

Meetings are held at the home of Texas labor at the Texas AFL-CIO Headquarters (across the street from the Governor's mansion). Address is 1106 Lavaca St. Austin, TX 78701. In the event this location changes, we will communicate out a new location. 

Who can participate and vote?

All dues paying members are welcome to attend the meeting, debate and vote on items. We verify membership and ask members to sign in for official record keeping. Roberts Rules of Order govern the meeting.
